The Connect team puts the finishing touches on the show.

I know you'll join us on air tonight, but we wish you could feel the buzz in the newsroom right now:  It's electric; the excitement is very palpable.

As of this writing, we have absolutely no idea what our lead will be.  A Connects lead has to have legs that take it around the world.  Let's see what happens.

Back to work, and monitoring the news wires - join us for the launch, we promise it'll be exciting, unique, and entertaining.  Stay connected!

If civilized societies like EU, UK, USA, Canada protect & feed terrorists of another country, you cant blame innocent civilians been massacred on the battle field. Before you turn on to others to blame, criticize your own policies on conflicts first and do not repeat same mistakes from one conflict to another. If Taliban had been eliminated by Russia, Afghanistan could have been peaceful today. If you removed Sadam from his dictatorship then you should be also able to see Tigers in the same perspective. LTTE leader killed own people who didnt obey orders, used civilians as human shields etc. Admit it without defending them and rectify it even at this late stage. You have an obligation to protect a civil society from a terrorist group before its too late!

Thank u so very much for a erasing the bottom scroll in your show. The bottom scroll has got stuck with news channels from the day 9/11 happened, about time it got disconnected.
Have fun bekkie :) and yea add tech news to the show :) and caution from becoming a show like iReport it looks so forced.

Shock and awe!! I cannot believe I am hearing things correctly about the pirating problem. It sounds to me as if we are acting as if we are acting as the elephant who is afraid of the mouse. I had heard that these Somali pirates are keeping the worlds Navies at bay..give me a break. We can catch them and release them back to an ungoverned society like Somalia, what the heck for? Don't these thugs come with guns blaizing first? Maybe we don't have jurisdiction in these waters, but we sure as hell have the right to defend ourselves and the vessels we occupy especially if there are no "police" around and no repercussions from a uncivilized government that will let them loose to come back again with reinforcements. My solution is to blow their row boats out of the water and then ask for anybody else want to try and mess with the ships? Then no police or judge or juries needed, end of story, cut out the cancer.
