Some of you people sound like you will consume any news at all about MJ at the same time as complaining of media treatment of him before and after death. Don't you see that your consumption of celebrity gossip/trash news is what fuels the whole thing?

First off, what kind of question is that?? NO, we can not be tired of hearing about MJ - we need him. What we don't need is the sappy poor excuses of reports - a bunch of utter shameless lies - that you media have for too long managed to bring upon this man. Careful, we are talking about one of the greatest people who ever graced this earth. He was forced to grow up in the limelight and always tried to explain himself why some would see him 'weird' (because you media induced that perspective again). It was not a normal upbringing and you knew it, yet judged every little thing about this man - how ridiculous to microscope him like that. Michael adored children - the most complete, sincere, unconditional, rarely seen love - he understood they are the 'channel' to the salvation of this planet.. yet you twisted his image into a 'pedo'. But he did not give up, he sticked to his beliefs (!). He lost 40 lbs in 5 months of trial, he was irreversibly damaged to the bottom of his being - yet he stood true to himself. He was eccentric, as genius are - yet you called him names, you distorted his image into 'freak' - how very disrespectful and outrageous for this gentle giant called Jackson.

But people knew. People did not take in all the 'junk food' yall were feeding us. Michael was - in contrast to his almost supernatural image on stage - a most delicate, tolerant, compassionate, loving and hear this - forgiving - individual. You forgot he had a heart (that you so unceasingly managed to abuse and cause pain to - but did not alter). A great heart that tragically stopped beating three weeks ago. And i guarantee you, there are millions out there who would have taken out their own hearts and give it to Michael JAckson if that had saved him. So i think that puts an end to your (rhetorical) question. No words can describe the impact Michael's had on so many, on all levels - so there is no scale to measure how much the world needs to hear of him. Not about 'ghosts' haunting Neverland or other silly speculations - let it be facts this time. Let it be the professional, respectful reports I have the trust Cnn can put together. And one more thing if I may, please - wipe your reporters' big grin off their faces when talking about Michael these days - it doesn't feel appropriate. The world hasn't dried their tears. Yes, he's made us smile and will continue to do so, but let us first put to rest the cycle of unfortunate events that took him away from us. It is of global meaningfulness.Thank you.

It's only natural we need to hear more about Michael, he's far more than just an entertainer. He's made the difference that most politicians are failing to and much more. MJ has changed the world of many - that's why we're here, discussing him in the 'connect the world' area. His tireless efforts to convey important messages to the humanity - sometimes even to his own belittlement - paid off. I would like more coverage on that. Alas the inspiration quality in a person - the graciousness - is not 'hot news'. Tabloids are interested in the ''mundane''(as in ridiculous allegations and speculations), that's their fodder. Through his art, Michael always tried to confront the 'hounding media in hysteria', you know, the one that eventually took a toll on him.

However, CNN has managed to present facts in a decent manner, so please continue to do so. MJ may be just a headline to you, but to millions he is like family, so please treat that with utmost respect. We are still grieving, it still feels surreal, we still want to know what exactly happened and how was that possible. Bottom line, I need to say that I will live my life in a way to honour Michael Jackson and do my best to make That Change.

I am writing from Italy and I would like to share some opinions with you on the other side of the globe. Usually I do not chat, I do not visit blogs and use internet mostly for work or research reasons but since mr Jackson's passing I had to follow the news on th web because in Italy there is not full coverage of the event. I think we all have to learn a lesson from what happened and "make a change" so that the troubles I have realized Mr Jackson had to endure in his life will not be suffered by other people.
1)arts are some of the few things which make this life worth living
2)music industry and show business in general should remember that they survive only thanks to the talent of a handful of gifted people who deserve protection and respect instead of being squeezed up and trampled on
3)any person although famous must be granted the right to live his private life as he considers appropriate
4)gossips are not news and all decent people need to understand they have a keyrole in the defying of the infectious virus spread by tabloids and second hand tv programmes simply refusing to buy or watch them. I invite all the readers to do all possible to stop this vile and filthy habit to use media for disgusting witches' quests or to satisfy the arrogance and greed of some shameless so called journalists ready to sacrify the truth in favour of a higher position or income. There are no excuses for making false allegations, vicious speculations and eventually destroying a life
5) with reference to Mr Jackson I think that it is absolutely normal for fans to browse trough the web to get information about him. His death was unexpected and covered by a certain degree of mistery and it takes time to get used to the fact he is not here anymore. One needs to feel him closer and simply does not want to let him go
6) unfortunately there are plenty of sad news in the world to be upset for or to talk about but since millions of people are mourning in deep sorrow , out of respect for them, i have the impression it is not possible to simply avoid the subject. (plus what I said at number one)
7)last but not least: a man is innocent until he is proven guilty whatever he may appear or behave. There many things I am not sure of, but this principle needs to be considered not negotiable under any circumstance.
8)if there were more kindness and respect and consideration in this world I am sure there were less bad news to talk about and certainly we will not be here making such discussion. But it is never too late "to make that change"
Thanks for your attention
