The rise of ISIS in Syria and Iraq is being closely watched by policy-makers across the Middle East. Here in the Gulf region political and religious leaders have at some times been muted in their response to the militant threat. But, recently criticism is building against the group. ISIS is also proving itself something that often uneasy bedfellows in the region can bond over. CTW commentator and regular contributor Abdulkhaleq Abdulla discusses the rise of ISIS and how the group is being viewed.
