This was a really fun segment we planned for Connect the World. It's amazing how a plate of food has an intricate story to tell, a tale of journeys, adaptation, invention, and nostalgia. Take a look below. We'll have more of these segments coming up on the show in the next few weeks.

    Here in Ecuador travel agencies are warning travellers about new US customs regulations allowing US customs to view AND copy any information on laptops, flash memories, CDs, iphones, blackberries .... apparently there is no such thing as private documents anymore... not even corporate, legal or medical documents. !!??!! – What happened to the right to privacy? US Citizens beware... Homeland Security is infringing on your inaliable rights!
