A 75-year-old British grandmother has become the “Susan Boyle of dance” and a YouTube sensation.
Paddy Jones stunned Spanish audiences on a national talent show – equivalent to “America’s Got Talent,” – dancing her way to winning the competition with a jaw-dropping salsa display involving unusual athletic ability.

Originally from Stourbridge, UK, Jones was a professional dancer in her youth, and took up dancing again five years ago following the death of her husband.
Now dancing with a local salsa instructor, Nico Baila (who is 40 years her junior), the unlikely partners performed a high-energy combination of gravity-defying lifts, spins and flips that they call "salsa acrobatica."
In the final flourish of their routine on Spanish TV, Nico flipped Jones upside down and over his shoulder, drawing a standing ovation from the judges and the audience.
She is living proof that if you stay healthy, think positive and feel young, age is no obstacle to achievement.
Currently enjoying the media attention and her €10,000 ($14,000) prize winnings, Paddy Jones is our Connector of the Day on Friday.
If you have any questions for the pensioner otherwise known as “Salsa Granny” post them here and we’ll put a selection of them to her on the show.
