The 27-year-old American is one of those rare reality show winners that has been able to make it big - she's a multi-platinum selling recording artist and a Grammy winner.
Her first album "Some Heart" was the fastest selling debut country album in history and was certified platinum an astounding seven times.
Some of her hit songs from the album include "Jesus, Take the Wheel," "Wasted" and "Before the Charts".
Underwood's second album, "Carnival Ride" was another huge hit - selling more than three million albums worldwide.
In November 2009, Underwood released her third album titled "Play On".

What would you ask country singer Carrie Underwood?
Do you want to know what life is like five years after American Idol? Does she have any regrets? Does country music have a place outside the United States?
Please leave your comments and questions below and be sure to include where you're writing from.
Carrie's talked about how people are onions with many layers and she likes to present her albums and tours that way too, with fun and sassy moments but also serious ones. I'd love to know if she still thinks there are some common threads that run through some of her songs. Also how does she approach keeping it country even while bringing other genres into what she sings?
Hello Carrie Marie Underwood and CNN friends,
I would like an answer from Carrie Marie Underwood to the following questions:
– What can we expect from you and the country music industry in 2010?
– What is, as a country music singer, your opinion on the latest health reform legislation of the United States of America?
– How are you inspiring people all over the world to make our world a Better Healthier and Beautiful Place?
I am awaiting Carrie Marie Underwood’s replies.
Greetings,

I was wondering, in your 5 year career was there a moment where you had to take a step back and think "Wow I've really made it in the business?"
Thanks!!

Let me start by saying I'm NOT a fan of country music but I think Carrie is fa antastic singer.
My question is: what is it about country music that resonates with people that another music genres may not be able to do? Why is it popular is certain parts while not so popular in others?
Go Senators
I am not a fan of country music, but a lot of Ms. Underwood's music is right on the ege and I like it. My question is twofold - (1) would you ever consider doing a movie with David Cook (you are both extremely photogenic and likeable) and (2) why do you think Hollywood hasn't tapped you or David Cook for the movies yet?
I love Carrie Underwood!
I admire her and her talents! She has the most amazing voice and deserves all her success 🙂 She is an incredible artist and person with a heart of a gold and always does good for others. She is a fantastic performer and her latest album is amazing!
I wish Carrie all the best for the future. 2010 is her year!!! I wish her every happiness with Mike Fisher. They make a wonderful couple!
God bless her. I hope she reads this and knows how adored she is. xxxxxx
Carrie: You recently did a show in Singapore that was very successful, and you have fans all over the world. In an interview once you mentioned that you would love to spread country music to the world, especially Europe and other places where it is not that popular.
Simon Fuller mentioned in a Billboard Magazine article that you may be doing some shows in the UK, Australia, and Germany.
You have alot of fans overseas that are dying to see you, and I was wondering if you have any plans to do at least a few shows in Australia or the UK? thanx!

Pat W- Carrie just filmed her first movie, Soul Surfer, so that answers your question. lol she also acted on How I Met Your Mother a month ago, and did a great job!
Her first movie comes out this Fall, called Soul Surfer, filmed with Anna Sophia Robb, Dennis Quaid, and Helen Hunt.
Carrie: How did you feel when you were invited to perform with Celine Dion in the Michael Jackson tribute at the Grammys? I thought you did amazing, all 4 of you, and I was very moved and impressed by the performance. What was it like singing with Celine Dion?
I read that the producer, Ken Erhlich, said you were handpicked to perform in the Michael Jackson tribute because Michael himself was a HUGE fan of yours.... That must have given you goosebumps when you heard that, huh? 🙂
I love Michael Jackson and you as well, so I was thrilled to hear he admired you and was a fan of yours. How did that make you feel?
Thank you Carrie for sharing your beautiful voice with us. How do you take care of your voice, especially now that you are on tour?

How did Carrie meet her fiance and is she planning on applying for dual citizenship so she can officially say eh! ?
Carrie,
I would like to know what are the negative and positive aspects of show business and/or if there has been any negative and/or positive treatment by other artists towards you because you came off of AI?
Also, how long have you been a christian?
Forgot to add that I'm from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
From: Minnesota (You should add a tour stop here.)
Question: If you could change one thing about the music industry, what would it be?
Carrie...
IF... tomorrow... you were filled with The Light, and every problem that had to do with money or health was gone, what would your life be like? What would you do for the next week... or so?
Carrie, what is the most difficult part of being in the public eye? Are there ever days you wished that stardom had eluded you?
Is it true you are going to perform in Malaysia? Many international stars back out at the last moment.
Carrie has done a special concert in Singapore last year, is there any plan for her to have another concert in South East Asia, especially Jakarta 🙂 Just FYI, we have a country music community fans in Indonesia – CMCI (Country Music Club of Indonesia).
After HIMYM is there any plan to be a guest star for another TV series, like Glee maybe or another musical movie? Love to see Carrie in musical drama/movie.
Carrie, How do you stay so down to earth and so friendly after you have achieved sunh fame? You don't have a nose up in the air as other women who have become famous. You are a awsome lady!
Carrie, just wanted to congratulate you on your upcoming marriage.
Your fiance is one very lucky man. You are one of the most beautiful women in all of show business and even with your massive success and popularity you seem to have remained faithful to your roots and haven't let it get to your head. I credit your parents with giving you a good upbringing for that. Keep bringing us the great songs you write and perform.
Carry,
My wife, kids, Soldiers and I love you and your music! I listen to Carnival Ride daily and it helps me to escape a little from the stress.
My only question is the following: When are you coming to Baghdad to visit the Troops? Hopefully soon, my team leaves in August! We would love the visit! 🙂
Army Lieutenant Colonel
Combat Advisor, Team Commander
I would like to ask Carrie; how much control does the label have on an artist's songs and image.
Thank You
Im your fan since American Idol.
I wanna ask : "Is there any chance that you will come to my country Vietnam?"
