Tuesday's Connector: Evander Holyfield

World-famous American boxer Evander Holyfield is famous for his gladiatorial battles-of-the-ring with the likes of Mike Tyson, Michael Moorer and Lennox Lewis and more than two decades after beginning his career, Holyfield is still fighting.

[cnn-photo-caption image=http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2009/images/10/08/art.holyfield.gi.jpg caption="Evander Holyfield is the only boxer to win the heavyweight title four times."]

There are also rumors that Holyfield, who boasts a record of 43 wins from 55 bouts, is about to match up with retired Danish boxer Brian Nielsen later in the year.

But, it isn't only boxing that Holyfield has his eye on.

The former heavyweight champion and Olympic bronze medalist, who famously had part of his ear bitten off by Tyson during a world-title fight in 1997, has also become a bit of an environmentalist, turning his Atlanta, Georgia estate into a renewable energy playground by building a solar farm along side an organic garden at his ranch.

As one of only three men in history to have been crowned world heavyweight champion three times in a career, the one dubbed 'The Real Deal' hopes to make green history with his actions.

Here's your chance to send in your questions to boxer Evander Holyfield.

Do you want to know what his most memorable match was? Why does he enjoy boxing? How has his efforts on the environmental front gone?

Please leave your questions below and be sure to include where you're writing from.

Boxers who fought Mike Tyson generally backed up and defended themselves. I remember the look of astonishment on his face when he started his fight with you and you did not back up but hit him back and made him back up. Did you think you had this fight won after this first engagement?

    Evander,

I think it is great you are trying to improve our environment by going "Green". My only question is why have you contributed to the world's pollution by having so many children with so many different girl friends? Especially since you are a married man.

    Hey Champ,
I was trained by Canadian coaches Taylor and Wayne Gordon, whom I believe you've known since the '84 Olympics. They've told me over the years that you attend the amateur boxing competitions at every Olympics. My question for you is, do you attend the amateur events to support boxing, or to scout new talent?

    Just curious.

Good luck in your next fight. You're my favorite fighter!

    Dear Mr. Holyfield:

No question, just a thank you for being the biggest star in Boxing and an inspiration beyond that of ANY other boxer in my 54 years of memory. Yes, I said ANY boxer. I hope you get this, and I hope you have a sense of what you mean to true boxing fans who recognize the heart and talent of an athlete of your stature.

    Sincerely,

    Hi Evander
First off, congrats on a great career. Ive heard a lot of people comment on this and I have my own opinion, but I wondered how you thought the Klitschko's would line up against past greats. I often think they arent given the credit they deserve.
Was also great to see you an iron Mike make up on Oprah. First time I'd ever watched her show and was a great watch!

After Tyson bit off your ear you were asked how you felt about him doing that. You were quoted as saying, "I have a forgiving heart." How do you keep a forgiving heart?

Heavyweight Boxing has had may greats in the past and youre one of them. The present boxers in the heavyweight division dont seem to excite many people, and dont have much attention in the media as well. Im not sure many people could name the heavyweight champs today! Has heavywiehgt boxing lost its charm, its magnetism, and have the middleweights and lightweights taken something away from heavyweight boxing?
