HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal speaks with me from Amman about the political vacuum that exists in the region after the collapse of Palestinian-Israeli peace talks. As a long-time Jordanian official and someone who has played a key role in the Hashemite Kingdom’s international affairs he has keen insight into what we can expect to unfold in the region.

When I was in Cairo one of the main issues I wanted to find out was what role Egypt can and will play in the Israeli-Palestinian standoff.
