Syrian Refugees Celebrate Shakespeare's Birthday

"The art of our necessities is strange,
And can make vile things precious."

So says the eponymous King Lear in the second act of one of Shakespeare's most celebrated tragedies. Little seems precious in the harsh environment of the Zaatari refugee camp in Jordan. But one man decided to give the camp's children an experience they could treasure, marking the Bard's 450th birthday with a performance of the classic play.

$620K for a bottle of booze. Worth it?

Sotheby’s has sold what they say is the world’s most expensive bottle of whisky to a private collector in Hong Kong for $628,000.

Can a bottle of booze be worth that much, or is the cheap stuff just as good?

"In terms of how much it costs, it's got to be on how much was made in the first place," says Patrick Hobbs from Boisdale Whisky Bar.  "If it was a long time ago, did they have the raw ingredients to make it?"

Becky took a seat at the bar to find out what makes a whisky worth the price tag.

Avalanche skier: I got lucky

A skier in Colorado, Lance Light, triggered an avalanche as he made his way down the slopes. He also caught it on camera.

When Becky spoke to him about his terrifying experience, he said that it didn't faze him at all. "It all just happened so fast that I didn't have time to think a lot about it, I just acted on instinct and it all worked out well... I was just lucky to have all of the eyes in the right places, and all of the gear."
